The Oregonian reports significant drop in psychotropic medication of Oregon foster children after reforms supported by Youth, Rights & Justice are put in place.

Youth, Rights & Justice was successful in passing SB 408 in 2011.  The substantinve sections of the bill go into effect January 1, 2012.  The new law will expand relief options for juveiles required to register as sex offenders.  Read about the bill on our SB 408 Frequently Asked Questions page.
